Why sub-processor edits or the Trust Center description may not save, and how to fix it.

Some Trust Center fields have requirements that are not shown on screen. If a change does not save, check the items below.

1. Sub-processor changes cannot be saved.

When editing a sub-processor, the Save button will stay disabled until the Category field has a value. No message appears to explain why.

To save a sub-processor change:

  1. Log in to the Thoropass App.

  2. Select Due Diligence > Trust Center.

  3. Open the sub-processor to edit.

  4. Select a Category.

  5. Make the change, then click Save.

2. The Trust Center description reverts after saving.

The Trust Center description has a 1,000-character limit. Descriptions over the limit won't save, and the Trust Center will continue to show the previous description.

To update the description:

  1. Shorten the description to 1,000 characters or fewer.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Refresh the Trust Center to confirm the new description is visible.

Tip: Paste the description into a word processor with a character count before saving.

If a change still does not save, create a support ticket or email support@thoropass.com
