Table of Contents:

Terminology:

  • Global Hub: The top-level object, and admin layer, for clients with two or more workspaces.

    • All the workspaces that a client has are contained in the account.

  • Workspace: An instance of the Thoropass application. This is an sub-unit of the Global Hub.

    • The client may choose for this instance to represent a product or sub-organization.

    • A client with a single workspace is not a multi-workspace client by definition.

  • Multi-Workspace User: Any user that is able to access multiple workspaces from a single login credential.

  • Single-Workspace User: A user from a multi-workspace client that is only able to access one workspace from the login credential.

Login Concepts - Multi-Workspace

If a Thoropass customer has Multiple Products, and each product has a separate workspace (instance) in Thoropass, the Multi-Workspace user can login to all instances with 1 username and password. (see illustration below)
