When a JIRA PM SYNC integration is active in your Thoropass org, it interacts with Guidelines, Evidence Requests (ER's) as follows:

Guidelines Status:

  • If a Guideline is completed in Thoropass, the corresponding JIRA ticket will be closed.

  • If a ticket is resolved in JIRA, the guideline will be completed in Thoropass.

Guidelines Attachments:

  • An attachment added to a JIRA ticket will be uploaded and linked to the corresponding Thoropass Guideline, and vice versa.

  • If the attachment is deleted in JIRA, it will also be deleted from the Guideline.

Note: To delete an attachment in Thoropass that was added from JIRA, please delete it in JIRA.

Evidence Requests (ER's):

  • In the lower right of the ER, a JIRA ticket icon will be visible.

    • Click this to link directly from the Audit Module to the corresponding JIRA ticket.

    • Additionally, you can manually refresh the JIRA ticket using this icon.

  • Sync the following from JIRA to Thoropass:

    • Ticket ID

    • Title

    • Assignee

    • Status

    • Comments

    • Attachments

  • Sync the following from Thoropass to JIRA

    • Comments

    • Attachments

Note: ER sync works when there is only one ER section present. If there is more than one section in an ER, sync will be disabled.
