Overview
This guide helps Account Admins manage user access across all Thoropass workspaces. Access to the Account-Level User Management page requires the Account Admin role. If you need access, contact an Account Admin or your Customer Success Manager.
Access the Account Dashboard
You can access the Account-Level Dashboard, where Multi-Workspace User Management is available, in two ways:
Upon Login: The Account Dashboard automatically displays for Account Admins after logging in to Thoropass.
From a Workspace:
Click the profile menu in the left sidebar.
Select Account Dashboard.
Note: If you don't see the Account Dashboard, you may not have the Account Admin role. Contact an Account Admin at your organization or your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
Navigate to the User Management page:
In the left sidebar of the Account-Level dashboard, click User Management to open the Multi-Workspace User Management page.
User Management Page Features
The User Management page lets you find and manage users across all workspaces.
User List: Displays all users across your organization's workspaces.
User Details:
Status: Login status (Active, Password Expired, Invite Pending, Invite Expired).
Role: User's role(s). "Multiple Roles" indicates different roles in various workspaces.
Workspace: Number of workspaces the user has access to.
Last Active: The user's last login to any workspace.
Search: Find users by name or email.
Filter Users:
Click the Filters button to reveal filter options.
Add filters by status, role, or workspaces.
Invite Users (Across Workspaces)
Account Admins can invite users across workspaces from the User Management page. This page is also where Account Admin users can be created.
Add User: Click the Add User button to open the invite modal.
Basic Information: Enter the user’s name and email (used for login and to receive the email invitation).
Assign to All Workspaces to add the user to every workspace in the Account:
Check the All Workspaces box.
Select a role from the dropdown to apply to all workspaces.
Assign to Specific Workspaces to customize which workspaces and roles the user will have.
Select individual workspace checkboxes.
Assign a role for each selected workspace.
Send Invite will create the user and send them a login invitation email.
Modify Users
You can modify user details, workspace access, and roles from the User Management page.
Select a User: Click on a user to open their details in the right-side panel.
Global Actions:
Reinvite User: Sends a login invitation email.
Deactivate User: Revokes access from all workspaces and unassigns them from content like controls or policies. Deactivated users are visible in the People Table for their previous workspaces.
Edit User: Click the edit icon to open the edit modal.
Modify the user's first or last name (applies across all workspaces).
Select or deselect workspaces to adjust access.
Change user roles for any workspace.
Save Changes will apply the updates.
SSO & Multi-Workspace User Management
When Thoropass SSO login is enabled, all features and steps in this guide remain applicable. SSO changes how users log in, but workspace access and user roles are still managed in Thoropass.
