How To: Integrate Datadog with Thoropass

How to set up a Datadog Connection in Thoropass:

  1. Log into the Thoropass App.

  2. In the left nav.bar select Settings,Integrations.

  3. Click +Browse Integrations.

  4. Scroll to Datadog, click on "Learn More".

    1. Review the Permissions & How to Connect tab.

  5. Click Set Up Integration.

  6. Enter a name for the new connection account, click SAVE.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Click Launch Datadog.

  9. Sign in to the account that will be used for the integration.

  10. API Key Setup:

    1. Click New Key.

    2. Provide a name for the new key.

    3. Click the Create Key button.

    4. The API key will be displayed.

    5. Click Copy to copy the key.

    6. In Thoropass, paste the key into the API Key field.

    7. Click Next.

  11. Application Key Setup:

    1. In Datadog, navigate to the Application Keys section of the access page.

      1. Click New Key, enter a Name, then click Create Key.

      2. Assign the following scopes to the new key :

        • monitors_read

        • user_access_read

        • events_read

      3. Click SAVE.

      4. The Application key will be displayed.

      5. Click Copy to copy the key.

      6. In Thoropass, paste the key into the Application Key field.

      7. Click Next.

  12. Select the Datasets that you would like to connect to Thoropass.

    1. Monitors

    2. Events

  13. Click Connect.
