How to deactivate employees from the People Table and the User Table

To Deactivate an employee on the People Table.

Best practice: Off-board the employee first, then deactivate their account. To off-board an employee see this article.

  1. Log in to the Thoropass App.

  2. From the navigation bar, select Company, People.

  3. Once the employee has been off-boarded (see above article):

    1. Select the checkbox of the employee you wish to deactivate.

  4. Select Actions, Deactivate.

    1. Click Deactivate to confirm.

  5. Deactivated employees:

    1. To view deactivated employees, click the toggle next to 'Deactivated people'.

    2. The employee will appear greyed out, with an option to 'Add user to Thoropass'.

    3. In the User Table the corresponding user record will be removed.

To Deactivate a user on the User Table.

  1. Log in to the Thoropass App

  2. From the navigation bar, select Settings, Users.

  3. Select the user you wish to deactivate.

  4. In the side panel, select Deactivate User.

    1. Click Deactivate User to confirm.

  5. In the People Table the corresponding employee record will appear deactivated.
