What is an Audit:

An Audit is an independent review and examination of records and activities. Audits also change based on the scope and frameworks the audit is comparing against.

Why conduct an Audit:

Conduct an audit to assess the adequacy of system controls and to ensure compliance with established policies and operational procedures.

Who conducts an Audit:

An Audit is performed by third party entities such as Thoropass. Dependent on the framework you are trying to comply with dictates who has to complete the audit.
