How to create a Custom Guideline:

  1. Log in to the Thoropass App.

  2. Click Roadmap and select a Control.

  3. Open the Guidelines tab.

  4. Click Create Guideline.

Required Fields:

  • Associated Control: Auto-filled with controls related to the framework; at least one control is required.

  • Guideline Type:

    • Setup: Initial control requirements (affects control health).

    • Maintenance: Ongoing activities (affects control health).

      • Note: Can only be created if the associated framework is also in maintenance.

    • No Category: Informational only (no health impact).

  • Title: Clear, descriptive name.

  • Description: Brief summary of requirements.

Create a Task:

  • Yes: Create a task immediately.

  • Not now: Add tasks later from Program Tasks.

  • Click Create Guideline to save.

    • The guideline will appear in the control’s Guidelines list.
