Smart Sort AI is Thoropass’s automatic classification engine that automatically reads uploaded evidence and maps it to the correct audit evidence request (ERs).
Smart Sort allows customers to easily export evidence from tools like Vanta, Hyperproof, OneTrust, Archer, Drata, Sprinto, AuditBoard, and others, upload everything into Thoropass at once, and have it instantly recommended where it matters so you can take advantage of our audit platform regardless of where you maintain your evidence.
Using Smart Sort AI
Note: Smart Sort AI s available for customers who are in a post-BEERs audit cycle. Once your audit reaches this stage, the new Evidence Smart Sort tab will automatically appear, allowing you to upload files and have them organized for your upcoming audit.
The Evidence Smart Sort tab is your central place to upload any audit files—whether they come from a GRC platform, an on-prem system, or a tool we don’t integrate with yet. Simply drag in your documents or folders, and Smart Sort will automatically analyze each file and map it to the appropriate evidence request, helping you get organized and audit-ready in minutes.
Use the Upload Files modal to add any documents you want Smart Sort to analyze regardless of whether they come from your internal systems, on-prem tools, or another GRC platform. You can drag and drop individual files, full folders, or zipped evidence packages. Once uploaded, Smart Sort will review each file and automatically map it to the recommend them on your audit's evidence requests.
Once your files are uploaded, they appear in the Smart Sort table where Thoropass begins analyzing them in the background. Smart Sort reads each document, identifies what it is, and maps it to the most relevant evidence request.
When Smart Sort AI finishes processing your uploads, any evidence that matches a request will automatically appear inside that request for your review. You can confirm, replace, or remove Smart-Sorted files just like any other attachment. Smart Sort’s goal is to pre-populate audit-ready evidence wherever possible, reducing the amount of manual uploading you need to do.
