You can create custom Unified Controls to track and implement controls that aren’t currently offered by Thoropass.
To create a custom Unified Control, navigate to Controls and select New Control. If you don’t see this button, you can contact your CSM to enable it and learn more.
The Limitations of User-Created Custom Unified Controls
User-created custom Unified Controls are limited in the following ways:
They exist separately from Thoropass’s core list of Unified Controls.
The core control list was created by Thoropass audit experts to simplify your experience. To learn more about our Unified Controls, see Understanding Unified Controls.
They are not connected to a framework and will only be visible from the Controls page.
Action items created within a user-created custom control can’t be connected to other action items.
They do not benefit from Thoropass’s integrations and automations.
They can’t be considered in-scope for audit.
